Push The Button Lockdown Interview and Card Trick

This is episode 7 of The Lockdown, a video-call series from Push The Button. It went up in March 2020, when the host says Jamie's work had come to a halt. The host says he has known Jamie for a couple of years and done events with him.

At 2:00 Jamie says he uses the time to practise and work on new material. From 3:40 he explains why he prefers close-up magic to a big stage show. He likes to stand in front of people and do mind reading and close-up tricks. He also mentions kids' shows, where he performs on stage.

At 6:15 Jamie talks about his Uncle Joe, a professional magician who mentored and trained him. At 6:50 he compares himself to a singer, not a songwriter. Other people invent the tricks, and Jamie changes the presentation to fit his own style. At 7:30 he performs a card trick for the host over the call. At 9:00 the host says "that is amazing".
