A Neo-Gothic manor on the River Maigue
Adare Manor stands on the banks of the River Maigue in 840 acres of parkland. Plans for the present house began in 1832, under the 2nd Earl of Dunraven. The Neo-Gothic house has 365 leaded windows, 52 chimneys and 4 towers. The Earls of Dunraven lived here until the early 1980s, and the house reopened in 2017 after a full restoration.
You can hold your ceremony and your reception on the estate. Your wedding spaces range from the Grand Ballroom to the Walled Gardens. The Grand Ballroom has a sweeping staircase, marble floors and crystal chandeliers. Inside, the Gallery is 132 feet long, and its design comes from the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles. Couples can also take the Manor House for a whole wedding weekend.
