About the venue

A Louth castle, yours alone for the day

Darver Castle Estate is a restored castle in the Louth countryside, about one hour from Dublin and from Belfast. It stands on 50 acres of parkland and woods. The towers and turrets come into view along the driveway, and the gardens hold roses, fountains, water features and walled gardens.

The castle hosts one wedding a day, so you and your guests have the whole castle and grounds to yourselves. You can marry in the newly refurbished Ceremony Room, which seats up to 250 guests, or outdoors under the pergola above the courtyard. Afterwards, 50 guest rooms in the castle, courtyard and stables sleep up to 110 guests.

Your Darver Castle day

Magic for the drinks and the tables

Pre-Dinner Presto covers the drinks reception. Jamie moves between small groups with close-up magic, so guests who have just met have something to talk about.

After-Dinner Presto fills the gap between dinner and the band. Jamie brings highly interactive table magic shows, and the whole room stays part of the celebration.

Choose one, or book both. Send Jamie your Darver Castle timings and he will tell you where the magic suits your day best.
