A Cavan castle built for big celebrations
Cabra Castle stands on 100 acres of parkland and gardens near Kingscourt, with Dún a Rí Forest Park behind it. Henry Foster rebuilt the older Cormy Castle here in 1808. Colonel Joseph Pratt gave it the Cabra name around 1820, and the Corscadden family bought it in 1991 and re-opened it as a hotel.
Weddings here suit from 40 to 270 guests. You can marry in the Gold Room or on the Terrace above the gardens. The Granary, beside the castle, is a ceremony space with floor-to-ceiling glass. Dinner is in the Ballroom, under Waterford Crystal chandeliers.

Cabra Castle is one of the luxury wedding venues where Jamie regularly performs. His wedding film opens with a drone shot past its tower, over its formal courtyard garden and a terrace full of guests.
In December 2024 he entertained Rachel and Dylan's guests at their drinks reception there. He also gave the couple a private magic show, and they wrote that everyone was amazed.
Jamie holds six wedding industry awards from weddingsonline.ie, weddingsuppliers.ie and LetsTalkWeddings.ie. He is an Associate of the Inner Magic Circle with Silver Star, an award from The Magic Circle.
