About the venue

A restored flax mill village in Co. Meath

Ballymagarvey Village is at Balrath, near Navan in Co. Meath. The estate goes back to medieval times, and in the 18th and 19th centuries it was a working flax mill village. Its restoration began in 2003.

Every wedding package includes exclusive use of the village. Ceremonies take place in the Mill Loft or outside in Gwenllian's Garden, and the reception moves to the Banqueting Hall, with its high vaulted ceiling and exposed timber beams. The village has 42 bedrooms for up to 84 guests.

Disbelief in the Banqueting Hall

From 2022 to 2024, the weddingsonline Awards named Jamie a winner each year. weddingsuppliers.ie and LetsTalkWeddings.ie both gave him their wedding award in 2026.
